People Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and result-oriented People Manager who will help take Visma Real Estate to new heights! With both strategic and operational responsibilities, you will play a key role in strengthening our organization. You will be part of the company's management team and report directly to the Managing Director.

About Visma Real Estate

Visma Real Estate became part of the Visma group in 2020, following a strategic investment in the real estate industry. The company was originally five different legal units, but was merged into one entity with around 100 employees. We develop and provide software solutions for the real estate industry in Norway and Sweden. Our clients include large real estate agencies like PrivatMegleren, EiendomsMegler1, and EIE Eiendomsmegling.

As our current People Manager will be on parental leave from April 2025, we are announcing the position as a one-year temporary leave position. However, for the right candidate, the chance for extension after the one year is very good. The location for the role is Oslo (Skøyen).

Focus of the role

As the only person in the People function in Visma Real Estate, you will have a wide range of responsibilities and the opportunity to prioritize and influence how you wish to approach the role. However, there are three areas we consider particularly important to focus on:

Leadership Development

Strong leadership is essential to achieve company goals. Therefore, you will focus on supporting and developing our leaders’ competencies so they can exercise the best possible leadership.

Organizational Development

With the ever-changing needs of the market and customers, you will contribute to strategic planning and execution of good change processes so that we are always organized in the most effective way.

Operational Excellence

You will be responsible for the annual People cycle and ensure effective HR processes that support the business goals. This includes everything from recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, to salary adjustments, employee satisfaction, and manager assistance in labor law processes.

 

We are looking for ..

... someone with experience in HR or management. You may have your expertise in a specific area, as long as you are curious about taking on broader responsibilities. Experience and good results within project management, either within HR or other fields, is an advantage. Knowledge of Norwegian labor law is necessary for the role. 

We think it's important that our People Manager has a good business understanding and the ability to navigate effectively in complex situations. You should be a problem solver who dares to tackle varied challenges. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for collaboration with colleagues and leaders. Collaboration skills are highly valued in our team, but the ability to work independently to achieve results is necessary.
